Mos Definately

Black Dante is slowing releasing some tracks.  I'm excited...get excited.

Chiddy Bang

Chiddy Bang is a 4 person hip hop group hailing from Philadelphia.  Word of mouth says they met only about 7 months ago due to living on the same floor of their Drexyl University dormatory.  The group includes a drummer, dj, rapper, guitar/vocals, and of course a hype man.  Freshman in college doing what they want, lets wish them luck and spread the word.  Their tracks, only a few so far, are made up mostly of samples from other songs by artists including Radiohead, MGMT, and Kid Cudi with the addition of hip hop beats, bass, guitar, heavy drums and a solid energetic flow from their leader/rapper.  I got to check them out last night at Southpaw in Brooklyn to a small but enthusiastic crowd who hollered for more after the short set.  Here's a couple phone flicks and a video from the night.  Shouts to Ian for putting me on.

Danny Macaskill

This guy is for real.  Watch this video he put together.  Dude rode on the fence posts and climbed up a tree.  Found on the Lola site.

Mister Mort

Check out this guys blog called Mister Mort.  It is a true look into New York style, from the young to the old, the bums to the hasidics.  You'll see people who truly care, people who don't care at all, and people who care about looking like they don't care, and they all share an unmistakeable New York aura.

Inquiring Mind

This is the best layout for an online magazine that I've seen.  Get lost in it...The Inquiring Mind.

The Company Ink

Hook up your wall space on the cheap.  Just upload and hit print.  The Rasterbator takes care of the rest.

The Ruler

You really can't beat Slick Rick.  Go ahead and let him impress you.  Pick a song of his and listen to it while reading along with the lyrics.  My favorite rapper easily, witty for days.

American Classics

I have a thing about feeling prepared.  Due to this I tend to end up with items made by some of the oldest and truest brands.  Be drycomfortable, and ready to cut.

Vanessa Prager

I like every single one of her pieces.  Check out this artist, Vanessa Prager.  There is something photographic and nostalgic about her art.

Timeless Style

Jacque Cousteau
Style with ease, everyday staples, solid color, strong accessories.  I want that watch.(click image for full size)

Hop off the L at Bedford Ave in Brooklyn to see the biters acting too cool to let their boys to breathe.

Can I Get A SUUUU

Raekwon the Chef is bringing his fat ass back.  Wu Tang's last group release 8 Diagrams was a solid album, but wasn't given a lot of love.  Hopefully Rae's sequal to Only Built For Cuban Linx will give Wu fans the gritty 90's feeling we've been missing.

In My Ears

The Cool Kids have a new mixtape.  Download it, play it loud, enjoy.

Old school sound focused on heavy thumping bass.  Members Chuck Inglish and Mickey Rocks share a calm demeanor and nonstop flow with nonchalance.  Peep it.

Build Your Own

The people at apartment therapy put me on.  Don't buy, build your own.  Looks dope and cost mere duckets...help out the hardware store.

These particular desks are within a design studio called Oat, and we're built for around $80 with pipes bought at Home Depot.
